If you have a taste for the thrill, a thirst for adventure, a few shekels, and an ungentlemanly disregard for your own safety, here are 5 extreme outdoor activities for you in Kiev:
1. Tank Driving
Drive a real tank in Kiev Ukraine.
If “driving a tank” isn’t on your before-I-die to-do list, you might want to reconsider your priorities.
And yes, you didn’t misread. It’s not tank riding; it’s tank driving. A real tank. If that isn’t some achievement to take home and brag to your parents, then nothing else is.

Depending on the tour you take, you can drive vehicles like the BTR-80, which is a soviet-era amphibious armoured personnel carrier, or if you get lucky, a soviet T-62. That’s forty tons of pure Russian steel which you will be driving nonstop for 30 minutes.
The nine-year-old in you will be forever grateful and satisfied.
Just note these aren’t cheap. These tours can cost anywhere from $350 to more than $500 per person. But when in doubt, know that this is one of the very few instances where yes, money can buy happiness.
2. X-Park
Wakeboarding is one of 160 sports to do in Kiev Ukraine’s X-Park.
As its name suggests, there is a lot of extreme fun to be had here! Located in a green island between Dnipro and Desenka rivers, it features up to 160 different sports!
Some of the tamer activities include boat rides, bicycling, and kayaking. Perhaps you could spend the afternoon at one of their several cafes sipping a nice warm cup of coffee.

While it makes for a riveting story, it also served as a permanent lesson for the nuclear power industry.
Understandably, you may be asking, “Is it safe and will I grow a third thumb?” Be consoled in the fact that it is indeed safe enough for the tour. The radioactive levels in the area have reduced such that you couldn't get radioactive poisoning if you stayed there for a month.
Hours away from Kiev Ukraine is the infamous Chernobyl
There are whole day and two-day tours, enough to explore the Chernobyl exclusion zone and abandoned neighboring towns like Pripyat.
